Alex is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rollo Inc. He started working in the field of Previsualization in New York in 1998 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue work on major motion pictures. He began his career working on films that highly used the art of previsualization to help conceptualize and plan challenging scenes and camera work, like Panic Room and The Matrix Revolutions. With his eye for riveting action, Alex has collaborated with many well-known directors and producers like Justin Lin, Neal Moritz, The Wachowskis, and David Fincher. Some of his notable films are Watchmen, Van Helsing, The Chronicles of Riddick, Underworld: Evolution, Speed Racer, Wolverine, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and Star Trek Beyond.
Alex’s talent for creating unique, groundbreaking visuals and successfully planning technical shoots led him to 2nd Unit Directing. Using previsualization, he designs the sequences he shoots. Some of his 2nd Unit Director credits include: Star Trek Beyond, True Detective (Season 2), S.W.A.T, and Magnum P.I. (2018).
Alex has helped create iconic visuals and memorable stories for audiences all across the world. His passion and determination to provide exceptional previsualization services led him to start Rollo Inc.
Nooshin is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations for Rollo Inc. She started her professional career in Accounting and Business Development. Her love for visual arts and story led her to seek a new path in the film industry. She found her first industry position at Sony Imageworks. Soon after starting, she knew it was her perfect fit. She was able to do what she loved best, organizing and supporting the development of a project while seeing a piece of art come to life. She found the creative energy and technical knowledge of her co-workers inspiring. With much passion, heart, and tireless hours of work, she proved her dedication and discipline. By her second show, she earned a Manager title which was no small feat at a renowned, world-class visual effects studio.
Nooshin is well versed in managing large scale feature films and working with both Animation and Live Action pipelines. She has worked on such movies as Beowulf, Alice in Wonderland, Smurfs, and Hotel Transylvania. Her efforts at Sony were recognized with a “Joule Award”, given for outstanding performance. One of Nooshin’s biggest passions is creating a culture that promotes teamwork and supports growth and perseverance. Her goal isn’t just getting the work done but exceeding expectations.
